The Learning Center (TLC), a school dedicated to providing specialized education and support for children with autism, was recently nominated for the Hats Off Nonprofit Award by Nonprofits First. This honor was created for organizations and individuals making a profound impact in the community and is a testament to the commitment of TLC’s staff, board, volunteers, specialists, and supporters to providing specialized education and support for children with autism.
The nomination was made possible due to the partnerships TLC has with groups like Spectrum 360 and Therapeutic Treehouse. The Hats Off Nonprofit Award has grown into one of the most anticipated nights of camaraderie and recognition in Palm Beach County. It was held at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in October. This year, The Learning Center stands out among the nominees, showcasing its exceptional dedication to the betterment of the community.
While The Learning Center didn’t win this time, the nomination was a huge honor and proof that the mission of the school and the nonprofit groups that support it is moving in the right direction.
